Summer Lovin’ starts June 2nd!
We’re kicking off Summer ‘09 with a trip to the Beach!

Fire-roasted hot dogs, ocean swimming, beach volleyball, and some worship around the fire…you can’t beat College Summers!
Tuesday, June 2nd @ 5pm
Meet at Magnolia Avenue Baptist in the parking lot to carpool.
If you can’t make it by three, jump in your ride and meet us down there later! (Huntington Beach, state side, fire-pits near Huntington Street entrance)

Discipleship Groups
Discipleship Groups are starting this month!
We’re launching Discipleship Groups on Friday, March 27th (the last Friday in March)!
Each week there will be:
- A time of focused, biblical prayer
- A time for accountability
- A time for applying the week’s teaching to daily living
To sign up:

“Vintage Jesus” Sunday Series for 9:30AM Table Groups
We are starting a new video-based unit on Sunday:
“Vintage Jesus” by Mark Driscoll

WHY: You asked for it!
We had a great response to requests for unit topic ideas! The majority of ideas were split between sharing your faith and apologetics; “Vintage Jesus” covers both extremely well in an engaging, fun, and orthodox manner!
WHAT: A 12-week video series
It’s a 12-week series, and all the sessions are “standalone” (no matter where you come in during the series, you won’t be lost), so join us on Sunday mornings!
WHEN: Every Sunday morning at 9:30AM

Welcome Back!
We had a fantastic 2008, and 2009 looks to be even better!
Table Groups continue to thrive as we discuss culturally relevant topics through a Christian perspective;
The Foundry continues to deepen our relationships with God through our seasonal focus: Salvation;
And there are a few new things to look forward to in the coming months that have me all excited for what God is doing through this ministry!

Thanksgiving Update!
The College-Age Ministry is taking the week of Thanksgiving off. Therefore,
- There is no Foundry on Tuesday, November 25th.
- There is no Serve Saturday on Saturday, November 29th.
Everything else is happening as planned! Thanks and have a great holiday!
